Hotel web design and direct channel: InnWise new contracts in April 2013

Abba Hotels a Spanish hotel chain, with 18 urban establishments in major Spanish cities as well as in Andorra, London, Berlin and Bratislava, is now using its updated website developed by InnWise as well as individual websites for each one of their hotels. After previous consultancy a restructuring of the site was defined using a sleek, elegant design and emphasizing usability for users.

During the month InnWise has added several new customers to its portfolio. Among the most important services contracted feature Web designs and the brands that rely on Innwise are; Hotels Poseidon, an Alicante hotel chain with six hotels, who have contracted the redesign of their web to a more modern and functional layout; Hostal Bar Cuba Colonial, in Palma de Mallorca; and Oasis Fuerteventura Hotels with five establishments on the same island.

On the international scene, InnWise signed three new web design contracts in Mexico with Coral Maya Turquesa located next to the Riviera Maya, Koox Hotels in the Caribbean and Blau Hotels & Resorts, for the corporate website of its four hotels in Cuba.

Regarding the direct channel, apart from SH Hotels, chain of seven hotels in Valencia and Alicante, which had already incorporated our services, InnWise has added two new firms to its portfolio this month: VistaSol chain (with two hotels in Buenos Aires and Punta Cana) and Oasis Fuerteventura hotels.

Direct Channel

 The direct online channel for hotels is not comparable to other distribution channels which only cover inventory management and pricing. The direct channel requires a more complex development including complete sales cycles, from the moment the potential customer is attracted by our marketing until the sale has been carried out.

This channel is developed from specific information obtained by the cross checking analysis of web analytics reports, reputation, product, pricing, competition, etc..

With the information from the cross-checked analysis InnWise plans the most optimal strategy with the hotel management. InnWise is responsible for an efficient and effective management which is ensured by constant analysis of introduced actions therefore confirming a continuous improvement of the direct channel's performance.

Taking all of this into account, a reduction in online brokerage dependence, distribution costs and customer acquisition costs will be achieved while at the same time rate and occupancy improved.
