20 Spanish hotel groups debated the trends in Hotel Distribution and Direct Channel at the first Customer Advisory Board organized by Idiso.

September 18th, 2012. –Idiso met on the 14th of September at the Husa Princesa Hotel in Madrid with thirty hotel managers in Spain for its first Customer Advisory Board Conference, following its objective to innovate and develop a quality relationship and proximity with its customers where they discussed the challenges of Hotel distribution.

Firstly the vision, trends and strategies of hotel distribution and Direct Channel were debated and secondly, implementation models, marketing services and revenue, as well as the mobile technology development and innovation to compete new environments. The number of attendees and the intensity of participation in the different debates were an enormous success.

The meeting was attended by Javier Silvestre, Idiso CEO who began with a talk about the vision and trends of Hotel Distribution and the Direct Channel. Alfonso Castellano, Director of InnWise, the company specializing in marketing that has been recently created by Idiso, spoke about the opportunities for e-marketing and social media for the Direct Channel as well as the business cycle and mobile technology importance. Marc Galbis, Strategy and Production Development Director and David Moneo, Business Development Director presented the new products and services portfolio finalizing the conference.

The major role of mobile technology, smartphones and tablets, was highlighted, covering the aspects of content sharing as well as the continuous increasing of strategic importance that this has for hotel marketing and distribution.

Idiso will elaborate their first report on Hotel Management Trends 2012 from the conclusions of this conference which will be published in the next few days.
